HP's 4 Printer Model Series - Sturdy, Fast, And Budget-Friendly

By Ben Pate

When it comes down to buying printers, there are a lot of options, and it may be difficult to know which printer serves your needs the best, especially if you are purchasing for a small to medium business. If you have been thinking about any of the HP LaserJet 4 printer series with 4 laser toners, here is what you need to know.

Constantly having to stop and reload the paper tray is a waste of time and can be very frustrating. With most HP printers, you can add 500 sheet of paper in each tray and some printers have more than one tray. This means less wasting time for you and more time for the important things.

Another great feature is the ability to load paper of almost any size into your LaserJet printer. Each paper tray can handle paper up to legal size so no matter what your printing needs may be, you will be equipped to handle it. Using different paper sizes will allow you to try out new ideas such as printing fliers or brochures.

Another complaint that people have about traditional printers is that they are too slow. With a LaserJet printer, you can print up to 62 pages per minute. With print speeds like that, you can have your documents in half the time. This will allow you to be more efficient than ever.

These printers are capable of connecting to your digital network. This means that your printer does not have to be plugged into the computer that you are printing from. If you have wireless internet or you work in an office, odds are good that you already have a network set up, so adding your printer to it should be a snap.

When you buy a LaserJet printer, it will not come with a USB cable. This cable is needed to connect the printer to a base computer and the printer absolutely will not function without it. Remember to put this cable when you buy the printer to ensure that you can print as soon as you open the new box.

Some of the printers in the 4 series are color printers. If you buy a color printer, you will need to replace the color HP toner along with the black toner cartridge. Buying a color printer will end up costing more money because of the added cost of the color toner, so be sure that you need the capability to print in color. If you do need it, then a color printer will be much cheaper than a traditional color printer.
